“ADOPT A BEAR”

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home!

Our neighbors have made a very hard and selfless decision to put their sweet “Bear” up for adoption. They feel he needs to be with a family who has more time for him. Bear is a Great Pyrenees/Belgian Malinois mix, mainly Pyrenees. He is 10 months old, at 75lbs. He is estimated to be 100lbs full grown. He is not neutered. Up to date on all vaccinations. He walks on a leash very well with adults. Loves car rides. Currently lives in a home with 3 younger boys and does well with them besides a little nipping. He jumps on humans when excited but calms down to be a gentle giant. Bear does not do well in a crate, tries to escape and has severe anxiety, even when left in the kennel for a short period of time. Pyrenees usually don’t like to be crated as it goes against their nature of herding flocks. He is good with other dogs from small to large. He’s fully potty trained. Great Pyrenees have a tendency to bark, especially throughout the night to protect their family but his current owners have only heard him bark once at a turtle. He currently sleeps on the floor by his owners bed all night with no problem. An ideal home for him would be a family who stays home majority of the time, is capable of giving him lots of exercise, preferably on a large farm or ranch, and has experience with Great Pyrenees. I will be doing applications for him just as if it were one of our puppies, along with phone interviews once the application is approved. If you are interested and feel you’re a good fit for Bear, please see application below along with more photos of Bear. Serious inquiries only please!
